Student鈥檚 scheduled for Disciplinary Hearings will be notified by mail concerning the specific charges, assigned date, and time. All Disciplinary Hearings are held on Wednesday in the Board Room of the Sumner County Board of Education at 695 E. Main Street, Gallatin, TN. Parent/Guardian may request the school to provide copies of the Disciplinary Packet for review prior to the hearing date. At the time of the hearing, parents/guardians have the right to be represented by an attorney, to present any witnesses, to cross examine the school representative, and the student will have opportunity to state their side of the story. Once the hearing is concluded all parties have the right to appeal the decision within five (5) business days to the Director of Schools. (Policy JCC, JCCC, JCCCA)
